GYROTONIC® Movement Center Owner, Sharalyn Lehman, has a BA in Biology from Mount Holyoke College and a healthcare MBA from UC Irvine. After working in women’s healthcare for a decade, she moved with her family to the San Juan Islands. There, her love of yoga and dance found expression in teaching movement. 

 

Discovering the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® and Master Trainer Karen Mullen, was the catalyst for a transformative advance in her relationship with her body and proved to be an essential tool for teaching.  Sharalyn is a certified Level 1 & 2 GYROTONIC® Instructor & certified GYROKINESIS® Instructor.  She also holds certification on the GYROTONIC® Jumping Stretching Board, Leg Extension Unit, and Archway.   

 

Teaching movement arts for almost 10 years has been a journey of exploration.  She has sought ways to tailor sessions to her clients that speaks to their challenges and strengths.  She has attended workshops specific to Scoliosis and Neurological Conditions and has experience working with clients with Scoliosis, Alzheimers, and Parkinsons’.
